Timeline scrolls along with tracks

This might just be personal preference, but right now the timeline block scrolls when you scroll the track tab. It is like the timeline is interpreted as a track

This make it a bit cumbersome when you have several tracks and you have to keep scrolling up to see where in the track you are or to see your markers or to move the current position without using the seek button.

Is there any way to at least have an option to leave the timeline in place and scroll the tracks separately?

Hello John,

I fully understand your request here.

At the moment we are ironing out a few things on the packaging, and a few bugs before making a full beta release with debian packaging for Ubuntu.

When this has been done there are a number of new features which are ready to be added.

So what I am going to do is to convert this request into a bug report so that it can be flagged for the wishlist for the next set of features to be worked on.
