"Convert to Image Sequence" -> reduce PNG size (in terms of KB)?

When performing a "Convert to Image Sequence", is there any way to reduce the size (in terms of KB) of the resulting PNG files?

Unfortunately, we don't have that option right now. I do know that it's possible (on the back-end) to create image sequences in many different formats, such as JPEG, TIFF, etc... And I'm sure it's possible to set the compression also, I just haven't had time to look into that. It's possible that we might add this feature, but it will likely have to wait until some more of the bigger issues are addressed first. Thanks!
