Any hopes of seeing OpenShot on Windows?

Asked by ArkBlitz

Pretty much self-explanatory. Will you ever make a Windows build of OpenShot? It would be the start of the end of Movie Maker... sorta.

In theory it is easy to port or run any Python program on any operating system that has Python (which is most).

The limiting factor here is the avaIlability of the libraries used. If these latest versions of the libraries are available on any operating system, then it will be possible in future to adapt OpenShot to run on any operating system with these libraries.

If you go to www.jokosher.org you will see how they achieve this with another Python program - Jokosher.

The development of OpenShot is too early in the cycle to do this yet.
