Trasitions not staying on clips (slide show)

I have about 121 Jpg's with transitions on each one, when I size them on some of the clips, the transitions just disappear. The problem seem to be random.

System Ubuntu 16.10
6 gigs mem
OS 64-bit
GIGABYTE -MA785GM_US2-H
ASUSE 750 Ti Graphics card
