After cutting part of a video clip out cannot hear any sound in preview

 Editing a video and cutting out part of it, I cannot hear any sound in preview playback. The sound is activated. The video plays but cannot hear sound. I used magnetic snapping to bring the snipped parts before and after the cut, together.

The video part before the cut I can hear sound but after the join from next video part cannot hear any.

Its alright now I solved it. I have just noticed that the sound although activated in the prior video part, was not activated in the next part.
