Version 2: Split a Video and documentation

Hi,

 I use the version 2 and has some experience with the former version. Under Linux Fedora 23 there is only version 2.0.7 available.

I will create a short new video from some other video parts and so I must split video. But I can't find a way to do this. Please give me an hint. I see on the homepage a screenshot and the video, that show a dialog to do this.

My second question: Where is documentation, or parts of this, for version 2. Ok I read some postings that openshot 2 is in beta status, but how should I use or test a software without a briefing or documentation?
