OpenShot Video Editor

OpenShot video preview shows only black screen

Hi

I'm using this video editing program in Lubuntu (version 14.04) and everything seems to work but preview screen stays black all the time (I can even export some videos ant they are working)

so what is wrong in my configuration ?

Hi Olivier and thanks from your answer

I tried to update but first it says that I need KDE5 environment and python-mlt5 is not available and python-mlt6 could used instead and it can't find libmlt5 packet

so it doesn't work
