how can i rotate a video clip taken on a phone

Asked by billsoft

I have a number of clips taken with a phone camera, unfortunatly they are all on their sides, I have tried to rotate them in open shot but so far have been unable to do anything as I can select a clip an play it in video preview but thats all I can do with it.
I have a button says rotate image staticly or animated but seems to do nothing at all as far as I can see.
Assistants would be most welcome.

Hi, this is pretty simple. You can drag and drop your videos and photos (i.e. clips) down to the timeline, and right click on each one to rotate them. Better instructions can be found here: http://www.openshotusers.com/help/1.4/en/ar01s17.html#sect2_61. Thanks and good luck!
