I have a question about 'Consumer', 'Producer' in MLT

Thanks for answer last questions.
So, I have been analyzed OS Source(v 1.4.3).
I was finding the source code that apply 'Effect' to video.
I found that code to following OS run process.
In my opinion, Effects are applied after press 'Play' button or export video.
Consequently, I found mlt.consumer and mlt.producer.
I think that this two methods are involved in applying effect.
Finally, I think that it's process :

GenerateXML(create xml(project information)) -> mlt.consumer, producer(apply all things(effect, sound, etc...) to use xml)

Is this right? This is right or no, I want to know mlt.cosumer, producer.

If you want to know OS and help us in his development, you should wait a bit. The 2.0.0 will change near all and we won't use MLT. Stay tuned here http://www.openshotvideo.com/ or here http://linuxevolution.wordpress.com/

Well, we are not in our schedule date but :
Libpenshot (composed of libopenshot and libopenshot-audio) is finished and review by a gourou in C++.
the preview release is for few weeks ago.
