What type of audio files does the program use?
Trying to add an audio track to the project previously safed. Getting error message: There was an error importing files. The file in question is a .wav file. What type of file should it be?
I have placed three short videos on one track and trying to add audio to the beginning of the track. When I try...the above error is displayed. I'll try to create a different type audio format.

Hi,
Unfortunately I don't know what "the fork of FFmpeg" means. Other forms
of audio files don't work either. So does the program allow you to make
additions to a project after it has been SAVED the first time? I was
able to join 3 video files together into one project and successfully
play it back.
Sincerely,
John

I've just finish to read this article which explain well the situation.
Just for info now FFmpeg is out in 2.1 and libav 0.8.6. The 0.9.0 seems to
come soon. There are two years ago, they were at the 0.8.6 both.
If you want to use a functional Version follow this FAQ :
https:/
about the sven PPA)
More explanation in this thread :
http://
Use the sven PPA. Normally, its should remove the fork (and all software
using it like Openshot) . Once time it is done re-install all them. Good
luck.
