Video montage, openshot ghost images

I am producing a video montage using digital pictures, I have three track, one for audio (mp3 music track 3, digital pictures track 2 and text images track 1). I currently have 8.07 minutes of video on the time line but when the play a head line reaches 08:07 although there are no more pictures on track 2 but pictures continue to be displayed on the preview screen up until about 08:28. I have checked that there are no images on tracks 1 and 3 but there are not.

Is this a bug or have I done something wrong

I am using Xubuntu 13.04

There are several bugs on 13.04 (but not Linux Mint, Andy have began to
investigate thoses on his Linux Mint too). A new version (aka 1.4.4) should
be out in around 2 weeks correcting this bugs on 13.04 and not previous
versions. But I can not tell you if your bug will be resolved.
