No option to select pictures for 4 pictured animated title

In openshot 1.4.3 with ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS, There is no clear option to select which pictures you want for the animated title: "Picture Frames". The buttons are unclickable. Is this normal behaiviour?

The 4 buttons don't become active until you add some files to your project.
