Well I said I need animated titles for the Blender 2.62 and tells me I have the 2.49. What I can do?.

Asked by Ivan Gonzalez

I install OpenShot Video Editor command from Terminal with a special page just for Open Shot and I have Ubuntu 10.04 but when I try to put animated titles I skip a poster reading. Needed for this action Blender, the content creation suite free and open 3D (http://www.blender.org).

Check the preferences in OpenShot and be sure the Blender executable is correct. This setting should be the path to the executable "blender" on your computer. Also, make sure it points to the Blender version 2.62 or higher.

Blender Path:
blender

Version detected:
2.49

What I can do?

Sounds like you need to install a new version of Blender. That is really quite easy. Just download a newer version of Blender, extract it into a folder, and paste the PATH to the "blender" executable in the OpenShot Preferences. Good luck!
