short export

Asked by Papp Zoltan

Dear OpenShot developers!

I have a one and a half hour video shot.
How can I export a smaller, selected range of the long movie?

Thanks,
Zoltan Papp

Hi,
You can not do this operation easily i.e select this part and export it after and de-select it and work like if you don't have done nothing. :-)
You must cut parts what you don't want, remove them, export the smaller part (selected part) and use the rendo action to come back at your initial work.
Take a look at our manual online : http://www.openshotusers.com/
Good luck.

Can be it easiest? What do you think? When will be it available if possible?

In fact, it is easy to do i.e cut and remove the first and last part that you don't want to keep. Move the part that you keep at the beginning, export and use the rendo action to come back at the initial film.
