I cannot upload to Youtube through Open Shot

I spent ALL DAY making a nice video game montage, only to find that I cannot upload it because it gives me an error. I type in all my information to my Youtube account correctly, but it says it had problems validating and to make sure my file is video. I do not know how to find out any of this. Please help.

Secondly, what is the size of your video file ? I don't remember exactly the maximum size that Youtube accept but I'm thinking that she is around 28 Mio.
