but it is in 720x480 pixeles while my clip is in 1920x1080 pixeles

¿how can I get my full HD frame?

Hi,

What is your profile when you have created the new project ? Does it was not in NTSC/NTSC widescreen for sample ? At first look, yes.
Try another one in a 1080 profile and do the same operation. Normally, your size problem should be resolved.

Thanks.

I found out how the thing works:

1) put the data of your project right and save it
          - give it a project name
         - give it a project folder

         - give it the right Project Profile --- in my case HD 1080p 25 fsp

save the project.

now choosing a frame on the timeline and pressing "Ctrl D" this gves you the frame in the project folder with 1920x1080 pixeles

thanks to eolinwen for the clue
