how to convert from 1280x720 to 720x576

I got footage from two cameras and have to combine this in one video. Problem: One footage is 1280 x 720 and the other is 720 x 576. Question: How do I crop the bigger picture to the smaller in Openshot (or another programme?)

Hum I dont know.

On Openshot, try to create/open a project with the parameters of the smallest file and see what happens with the first.

On other software, try to see to the side of EnKodeur-Mixeur (not sure and I can't test that) and Avidemux (with filters). Otherwise, you have always solutions in console with Transcode, Mencoder and perhaps ffmepg.

Can you help with this problem?
