Hi,

The osp file is something intern to Openshot. He records all the modification done in the project in a binary/ascii file.
When you export on Youtube, it is the render file which is exported.

Take a look at your manual (http://www.openshotusers.com/help/1.3/en_GB/)and specially at this page which will explain you better that I could do it.
