dirty pixels in exported video

Asked by ViktorNagy

hi,

I've created some screencasts w/ size 1280x720
the video plays back perfectly

then I would like to add a title and a final page to the video using OpenShot. The title and final pages are svg files.
I've selected a video profile with the size above (it was HDV 720 25p)

the page width/height ratio of the title and final pages differs from the videos 1280/720

the exported video has many weird pixels, like parts of the image are totally blurred
I've exported the video for Youtube-HD (that uses the same profile as said above)

what can I do to fix the video?

I'm running OpenShot 1.3.0

thanks,
Viktor

Thanks for the question. I would recommend you convert the format of your screencast to MP4 (h.264), instead of OGG Vorbis... which I bet you are using from the description of your problem. Once you convert the file, it should work properly.

In newer versions of MLT, FFmpeg, and OpenShot OGG files work better, but in your case, I would just convert the video files to a better supported format. Good luck!

Can you help with this problem?
