How do I put clips in slow motion for the final result?

Asked by Isabel

I would like to put certain clips or perhaps all clips in slow motion but I do not see any visible ways of doing so, could I please get an explanation if it is possible as a feature.

Hi,

You should take a look at our manual. You can see how works Openshot quickly and choose it for your language if English is not your first language. See here : http://www.openshotusers.com/

In a short description for your problem. Select the clip that you want to make a slowmotion. If it is only a part of this one, use before the cut tool (without moving the clip) and select this one like in the first sample. Right click go to Properties third tab.
Play with first item called speed, the second if you want to change the direction. Once time you have done that, take a look in the player on your left. Nothing is apply until you .......apply. That's all.

This feature(s) will help you to release quickly a slow motion. Another tool more complex and more power (but always in the state of mind/spirit of Openshot=>easy and power) will come with our future big version 2.0. which will come this year.

Thanks.
