Keyframing effect parameters?

I want to be able to keyframe parameters for effects. For example, the amplitude variable for the distortion effect. Is it possible to do this?

Hi;

I am not sure to understand well your question but you can modified parameters by default in the screen of the properties of the clip in the effect's tab (the last).
