Is image sequence import limited to 15k images???

Hi,

I am trying to import an image sequence with approximately 100k images from a time lapse recording.
When I import the sequence there are no warnings or errors reported, however, the images from about frame
15000 till the end are black.
Is there a limitation in the number of images that can be imported in one sequence?

I have just checked the code and I answer yes. 50000 but I am not an expert, I can do some error. I have not worked on this part of code.
