Do you use the Medibuntu version of FFmpeg ?
What is your video format of your input files ?
Check all your dependencies (see here : http://openshotusers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=758)
Have you modified the sdl output in the preferences ? If yes change again (return at this one by default)

Hello,

I removed the existing FFMPeg and installed again the version of Medibuntu, output format is MP4(h264). Inputformat is only pictures (jpg). I had some videos in the projekt but I removed them alle from the timeline. But it crashes anyway while rendering.

I checked all the dependencies. The sdl output is not modified.

What can i do ?

Try to delete the hidden folder by rm .openshot. And create another project. Don't worry, it will be re-create at the first run of Openshot.

Sorry for the delay. i was having lost your ..........mail. I wasn't remember who was asking me how to run gdb.

In fact, I will modified the documentation how to use gdb because I have done a mistake. Like we are using some development versions, we are using it like it is explain in the documentation. But on a normal installation (like you) it is a bit different because you must precise the correct path .
I explain : you must know the path where openshot is run by the command whereis. After you must go (in a terminal) to this folder and only after run gdb like it is explained in the documentation. So , that gives you that :

Can you see anything concerning the problem ?

It seems to be an error of MLT.
What is your version of MLT ? You should update at the last version (i.e. 0.70). It can resolve your problem (but that not sure, to try). You have the link in the dependencies post.
If it is always present you should inform the MLT Team on Sourceforge and open a new bug (or see if this problem is not already explained and solved).
