How can I cut a section

How can I cut a section of the music in the music and/or the video . I have been trying without success with all the links in the video editor. It would be easy if I could just select a section and then just delet it. I looked in the FAQ but I didn't find anything about my question. Thanks.

You can cut with the razor or more quietly with the shortcut C. It will cut at the position of the pay-head. So if you want to have a perfect cut, play with her, check in the same time in the preview and type C on your keyboard.
