Move a group of clips together to open space early on for a new clip

Asked by Hendrik Vermooten

Scenario: Once I have dragged a whole lot of clips onto the timeline, I want to add a new clip at the beginning, e.g. a title. Do I really have to move each clip individually to the right to make this space, or is it possible to select more than one clip at a time and move them all together?

With any substantial video, it would be a real pain not to have this feature.

This is already possible using the 'Shift Clips' menu item when you right click on a clip.

In Magix VDL, you would use the storyboard user interface to arrange clips, for instance to swap to clips or if you want to insert the title last.
