Noob Question on Trimming/Cutting Clip

I have many years of computer experience and feel somewhat foolish for not being able to figure this out. I have just started using Openshot coming from Windows experience. I have used the razor option to cut a piece of a clip. How can I preview the clip with the cut made. When I click on the clip it plays the original full clip. I have read the help which does not impart any clues. Many thanks!

Hi,
Two tips.
When you want to realize a cut at a precis point, use the preview, you stop at the wished place, move the play head if necessary and use the shortcut C.
For the preview, it is normal that you see the beginning. You can put some marks and go to this ones with the arrows corresponding. But you can do something else. Just double clic on the place that you wish to see the preview.
