Making a video out of a sequence of photos (stop motion)

If I have 1000 photos and want each photo to appear for .3 seconds in a predictable sequence, how would I preform that in OpenShot? Stop motion is what I think it's called.

Also, do you have a mailing list for regular users? I can only find one for developers.

There are full instructions for this in the manual.
Go to the Help menu, choose Contents, then you'll find that chapter 7 covers importing image sequences.
