OpenShot Video Editor

Require libx264

Hi,

Thanks for building such a great program!

I got one problem, when i want to use the h264 codec it says it is missing the libx264 codec.

When i go to the Ubuntu (10.04) Softwarecentre i see i already have the libx264-85 and the libx264 "plain" isn't there. How do i solve this.

The libx264-85 package should fix the problem. Just be sure to close
OpenShot after installing that package, and re-launch OpenShot. You might
also need to install the libavformat-extra-52 package and see if that helps.

when installing openshot video editor, the program should install all these extra packages automatically. please do that.

i also got that error message. then i had to come to launchpad to find out the nature of problem then go to both software center and synaptic to install those. Please save our time for such a simple thing.
