Can someone tell me which is better, opensuse or fedora, I want to install things like Openshot, Shotwell & Picard ect

Asked by Steve

See above, I'm new to all this, the same would go for either Gnome or KDE option on installing. Already have Ubuntu 10 on another computer, we are testing which OS's are good besides Windows and the options we could have ( might even save some money on the way !! ).

Hi,
It is a strange question because we have all a different perception of this distributions who are some real good distributions. There is none better than the other, their community done a good job for the extra-repositories who gives you access at a lot of softwares who are not in the official repository for legal reasons. I can not tell you which one is better than the other, the only advice that i can give you is to test them (both) in a virtual environment (and find and install the softwares that you want) for having your own opinion.
If my answer help you, please solve this Question.
Thanks
