MP4 codec download

When I try to import an MP4 file I get the error I need a coded for this. The problem is that my Ubuntu PC doesn't have an internet connection.
Is there a place where I can download the necessary files, put them on a USB stick and then copy them to my Linux?

You probably need the libavcodec-extra-52 package, which can be found here:

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/i386/libavcodec-extra-52/4:0.5.1-1ubuntu1

I don´t know which Ubuntu version you have, but these are for Lucid. Just download the .deb and install, it should work (I didn´t tried it myself).
