OpenShot Video Editor

Need help installing OpenShot for Ubuntu 9.04 32-bit

I have attempted to install the latest OpenShot on my laptop (running 32-bit Ubuntu 9.04) using deb packages, source code, and also through the build wizard. There were always some problems. I removed OpenShot and now I want some help with the installation.

I'll try once more with the DEB packages. Then I'll post the problems that occur afterwards.

EDIT: It crashes frequently when I work with transitions and effects. In the terminal, the last message before it crashes is "segmentation fault". It crashes too frequently for me to use it.
