Water marks with OpenShot

Asked by Jose Infante

Hi,
I'm trying to put a water mark in a 5 sec long video and don't know how to do that with OpenShot (neither with other program).
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jose Alberto.

Sure, just create a watermark image which has a transparent background (PNG is a good format for this). Add that image on the track above your video. The transparent areas of the image will show the video below it. For best results, create an image that is the same size as your video (i.e. 800x600, etc...), and then move your watermark to the corner of the image using Gimp, so most of the image is transparent. Good luck!
