I can put the clip in the time line but when I razor a section the clip starts again at the start of the clip.

For instance - I cut 0:00:00 to 0:00:18 and delete. Make my next razor make at 0:02:27. I now have a clip running from 00:18 to 02:27 .... BUT at 02:28 the clip begins at 0:00:00 again. Waaaaaaaaaa! I'm doing something really simply wrong but what is it I'm doing wrong?!? (driving me nutz)

This is helmet (motorcycle) camera footage and I just want to get bits and pieces of the 28 minutes.

Ubuntu 9.10 - Open Shot 1.0.0 (ppa on 2/28/2010) - Intel 32bit - Drift Innovations X170 camera
file name = X1700005.avi file properties = 720 x 400 XVID MPEG-4 @ 30 frames per second

The best thing to do is follow the FAQ here:

Maybe FFPlay/melt will show a problem when seeking.

Can you help with this problem?
