How can I repeatedly replace single end-paragraph with multiple for OpenOffice

Asked by David Johnston

Hi,
I have a list of items for which I want to write some info
When I use microslop word, I paste the list then select it and replace single paragraph mark with multiple with one of the following sequences :

Keyboard -
Control-H, tab to search text, enter "^p", tab to replace text, type multiple "^p^p^p^p" or as required, tab to OK and hit enter.

Via mouse select the following -
Edit -> Find and Replace -> click on search text box and key as above "^p", click on replace text and key "^p^p^p^p" or as required, click on OK.

This results in having several lines gap, so I can enter the info under each as a subheading, and move between those subheadings easily.

I cant find the equivalent way of specifying replace end-paragraph in the open office menus or help text.
Is there a way to do it simply, please ?
