Hello,

You have to provide all groups and roles to that particular user by going to user form from following menu:
Administration/Users/Users
Check the group : access rights from Administration/Users/Groups menu that all assigned group has all permission or not like read, write, create and delete.

Hope This will help you.

Thanks.

Hello vra,

I have assigned all the Groups and Roles to that perticular user. But the problem is that he is not the project manager of any projects but still i want to display all the projects to him because he is the CEO of our company.

When admin go into 'All Projects' list he can see all the projects though he is not the project manager in any projects. Same i want to display all the projects to above user.

So how can i do that?
Waiting for your reply.

Sincerely,
Deven

Hello,

So you can create one more group for that which has accessed rights regarding all projects and then assign this to that particular user only.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks.

Hello vra,

Its not working. I have created one group assigned it all the accessed rights but its not showing me any projects for that user.

I think that it will not be done by setting accessed rule.
Can you please tell me what should i do now?
Waiting for the reply.

Sincerely,
Deven

Hello,
I have created one group name is Project only and assign user for eg demo and create 3 access rights:

1) name: Project , object:project.project , give all permission like : read, write, create, delete.
2)name:Project Task Type, object:project.task.type, give all permission like : read, write, create, delete.
3)name:Task By User and Project, object:report.task.user.pipeline.open, give all permission like : read, write, create, delete.

also assign related menu from Menus Tab:
Project Management/Configuration
Project Management/Projects/My Project(add only If you want to add )
'Dashboards/...' related menu.

After setting all this setting from Groups form when i will connect to Demo user everything i will see what i did set.

Hope you will set your configuration like above and it will solve your problem.

Thanks.

Hello vra,

I think u r not getting my question. I am getting all the menus which i want but the problem is that i can not see the 'data'. Let me explain.

In my company we have 3 project managers for different department. Now when i start any projects i will assign perticular project manager to that so when he / she login in his account he can see his own PROJECTS. Now i have one user which is our company CEO. I have assigned him all the rights and groups so he can do everything in ERP like Administartor.

Now the problem is that when he goes in 'All Projects' menu, he can not see any data (means no projects). So i want to display all the projects like Administrator.

This is my problem.

Hello Deven,

When you refer to the term 'Data', it has the relation with access Rights and Record rules.

One of the simplest configuration I would suggest you is, Assign Project related all the groups to that CEO user.

The CEO user will be able to access all the menus and all the records. Make sure there is no record rule which is limiting the Data(i.e. record rule would only let you see your projects).

Feel free to ask more.
Thanks.

Can you help with this problem?
