Can you please tell me what is the mean by journal in payroll module?
what are the different types of journal ?

How to configure journal?

Am getting the below error when i am trying to create a payslip for an employee

No Analytic Journal !

You have to define an analytic journal on the 'x Bank Journal' journal!?

Hello,

journal contain account move line entries and the purpose of journal is to differentiate the different types of entries and journal is used in tiny financial account module so if read the doc from website you can understand the journal very clearly.
So when you pay a salary the it will done entry in expense journal and when you paid salary then it will done entry in bank journal and if you used analytic related task then you have to given an analytic journal in both journal which is used in salary calculation.
