AccessError You try to bypass an access rule (Document type: Account Entry).

Asked by Randy Nivales

Server: Ubuntu Server 8.04
Open ERP version: 5.0.6

This happens when a user clicks on the Create button inside the invoice page (whether customer or supplier). It used to work on version 5.0.2. I'm not sure if it's because of my upgrade to 5.0.6. I already assigned all groups to that particular user but the problem is still there. The admin user can create an invoice without any problem.

Please check. Thanks

Hi

First check the groups for your user, and for each group you must check the right on "Account Entry", i think there's missing create or write right

Hello Randy,

It is a clear case of missing Access Rights to User for 'Account.move' object.
This notification particularly comes from Record rules. You need to assign the user to the record rule which allows access to account.move.

Thank you.

Hi Christophe and Jay,

account.move is already present in the group that this particular user belongs to. It was working before. I don't know what caused this problem. Could be because of my upgrade to 5.0.6.

Any other things to check? How about database access? When I upgraded to 5.0.6, I also re-installed the Ubuntu Server. I'm not sure what I did wrong but I can't seem to backup and restore database through GTK.

Hope this info helps.

Thanks.

Additional info -- my Open ERP server is in daemon mode. I used the all-in-one installer but I run it line by line coz I didn't want to install the client on the server.

Solved the problem by replacing all the files in the server.
