how to change the name of a field?

hello i am new in openerp......i want to change the name of the field "satge" in :

SALES->Sales->Leads->New->"Stage"

where can i find the codes to edit stage? where should i edit? in .py file or. xml file....and after editing the code what are the steps i should do to view the changed name..? please someone do reply pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hello Pravitha,

You can edit the field label from XML and py bothways.

Presumably, you should have the source code of the crm module, you will do a search of that text and find the definition inside _columns section.

Alternativly, you could change the translation, which I think you can do in the gtk client by right-clicking the label.
