Different PostgreSQL users to limit access to DBs
Asked by
OpenBMS JSC
I'm running different versions (e.g. 6.0 stable, 6.1dev, v.v.) of OpenERP on the same machines, and they share the same PostgreSQL instances. Currently when using OpenERP, I can connect to any OpenERP DBs, regardless whether it's created by which versions. I want to setup PostgreSQL users, so that if a OpenERP DB was created via 6.0 UI (GTK/Web), it's not accessible to someone using the 6.1dev UI. Is this possible? If yes, please provide me with some concrete examples/
Thanks a lot.
Phong.
