Difference between web client and GTK - notifications

Asked by Mihai Satmarean

In the web client, when a sales order is confirmed, there appears a little box with the different orders that are proposed and generated (purchase, manufacture, etc).

Does the GTK client have somehow the same capability?

If not, is possible to have it.

Is a very nice feature.

Thanks for a wonderful product so far.

Hello Mihai,

You can find such kind of information about currently generated document from the menu "Administration/Reporting/Audit/Client Logs " in GTK client.

Hope this will help you.

It does in deed help, thus a pop-up or something flashy on the screen would be a life savior for me.

Thank you.

I have tried your solution, and works for an administrator account. But for a limited account is not possible.

Is there a way to make an item of an wish-list with this request?

It would be like:
When a sales order or an procurement order is confirmed, or an exception is eliminated, and by that action some other documents or tasks are generated, I would like to have a pop-up, or some notification balloons telling the user what happened.

I have seen this behavior in the web client and if I understood right the client does only what the server tells it to do. So perhaps the server sends this info, but the client does not know hot to show them.

Thanks
