Creation date not valid

HI guys,

I know this isn't really a bug, but more of a help request, but i decided to post this here anyway in case someone can help me out with this problem.
I'm trying to debug a problem in OpenERP. The problem is that when i create a case the field "Creation Date" doen't get the right value. In fact it's 5 minutes earlier then when i started to create the case.
Now here is my question. Where does the system get the creation date time from? Is it the server or the webserver or even the client?
It would be really helpful if you guys could help me out with this so i know where to look.

Hi Erik,

This is a generic problem, not tied to account_banking. My guess: look at your ntp settings on both client and server. When not set and or not in sync, this is a generic cause of all sorts of timing problems.

I'm switching the project to openobject-server.

just an idea

why not check if (GTK/Koo) Client and server are +/- in sync in respect of time

this could go where the version check is done.
