related selections

I have two objects which are related (e.g. object 2 is many2one with object 1).

I want to have selections on both objects. Selection of the first object would change the selections available in the second object. I cannot seem to get this working, no matter what I do. Are there any suggestions showing actual code and xml?

Hello Jim,

You can have selection box for many2one and that is the field many2one.
But for the object in inverse relation,it has to be one2many.

Describe your aim in example.

It will be easier for readers to help you out.
