Production lot not assigned exception thrown when product lots are assigned

I have a product BOM. One of the raw material of the BOM is set to track production lots. Once a production order is requested and I click on Force reservation, the openerp shows the following message: "Error occurred while validating the field(s) prodlot_id: You must assign a production lot for this product" and does not commit the materials reservation. Even with the fact that I have already set the product lot for the raw material.

Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong? Help on this will be appreciated.

Hello Ratoncete ,

When you define the product lot for the product. If you assign a lot which is not from the same product which is used in production order than it will generate the error.
