Not able to delete a submenu using "Ctrl + L "

Hi,
I want to delete a submenu in openerp client.

I have selected the submenu 'Other parters' (Partners -> Partners -> Other Partners).

I have selected 'Ctrl + L' on the submenu 'Other partners '

But when i delete the Menu name and try to save , it is saying Menu name is mandatory field.

How can i delete the submenu .?i want the parent menu in the main menu..only one submenu i want to delete.

You may Press the Delete button (which is on the upper toolbar).
