How to forbid portal user using this module

Hi,

I'm wondering how to forbid portal user access to this module.
The requirement is project manager can use these module searching useful task/issue, but I notice portal user can also see fts menu. Portal user should only see their own things, but when searching, they can also get a view of other issue/task.

Anyone can help? Thanks!

At the moment, the search bypasses all access restrictions. Permissions will be checked though when opening a found object.

To just hide the menu item, add a group to it, possibly project managers in your case.

To make the search actually respect the permissions model would be a couple of hours of work and a performance penalty for the extra checks.
