Requests problem. Old requests not displayed

Asked by forstera

Hello all,
We've a problem with the requests. When a request is closed, people cannot see it anymore. In fact, it seems that the 2 buttons at the bottom of the GTK (read my requests and new requests) does not allow to watch closed requests. In the top menu user, there are 3 different views (send a request, my requests and requests awaiting) but it seems that the 2 last give the same result and it's still impossible to see the closed requests. The only way we've found yet is to create a new request and then click on the tree button to display all requests.

Is this behaviour normal ?

Thanks for your help
Arnaud

Hello Arnaud,

You can see all the requests from following menu
Administration/Low Level Objects/Requests/Requests

When you closes any request it will takes 'False' as a active field by default.
If you want to appear these in current view. You have to select this check box "Active" into 'True' and save it .

Thanks.

Hello,

So, we made a test with the client. with the field active set to true, we can now see all received requests, but there's no way (except by creating a new request and the switiching it to list view) to display the old sent requests..

In another way, would it be possible, when user log in, to open the requests form when there's a new request for him ? because people don't watch the bottom of the screen, so they dont see if there's a new request..

Thanks very much :)
