If your server(openerp server) is in lan and accessible, you can definitely connect.

What is the error/log/traceback?

Thanks.

zmmaj suggests this article as an answer to your question:
First you must known REAL IP adress of your computer.
You can find thisn info in eg. http://whatismyipaddress.com/ but WARNING , you will see here IP of your MODEM ( if your have modem) or Ruter ( if you have ruter).
And if you got eg 146.161.193.224 from site, that is IP address of your device attched to internet NOT IP of your computer.
WARNING... If you have DYNAMIC IP address they will change every time when you turn ON(or just restart) your device attched to Internet ( That is general rule for ANY device who have dynamic IP address).
After you have REAL IP you can connect to that device... to attach to computer you must type something like 146.161.193.224:1
( for localhost =127.0.0.1 ) this rule is OK if you have nothing between ruter and computer...
etc etc...
Here is bigest problem Dynamic IP address of device attched to Internet. So, one of solution is to make agrement with your provider and get from provider STATIC IP address...
Another solution is to make small application who can show you address of your computer via internet ( I found app called "Aida" or similar)...
So as you see it's NOT easy at all
 good luck :)

Second: I configure for my modem to open port 8069 with the my computer lan ip 192.168.1.102
Third: I turn the firewall off
But I can not use 113.160.16.218:8069 to run web app
So sad!

Vuong,

Sorry for the half reply.

I meant, You have to make sure that you can access that system by real ip or not.. Try pinging, or running any other services.

Thanks.

Hello Vuong,

You have static Ip : 113.160.16.218. and you have configured modem.
Where modem allocate ip 192.168.1.102 to your computer.

Now when you try to access 192.168.1.102:8069 from your local computer then it works.
But It should not work from outside the world. Because ip 113.160.16.218 allocated to your modem/router.

If you want to access 113.160.16.218:8069 from anywhere,
then Ip 113.160.16.218 should be allocate to your computer or server where openerp instance is running.

Thanks,

First of all you need to know your IP address of your device.
You can find out using several method for example. https://www.purevpn.com/what-is-my-ip or by using command prompt and type: ipconfig

This is how you'll know your ip address of your device. But if you're using dynamic ip then your ip will change everytime when you restart your device.

After you know your IP, you can connect to that device, to connect to computer you must type ip (for localhost=127.0.0.1) this is correct rule if yyou have nothing between router and computer.
The biggest issue here is dynamic ip. you need to get static ip to get rid of any hassles.
So basically it's a bit complicated but not impossible.
Have a nice day
