Couldn't send email to domain with an email address ex: <email address hidden>

Hi

I tried using gmail server to send email to other email address in openerp and it worked

SMTP SERVER : smtp.gmail.com
SMTP PORT : 587
EMAIL FROM ; <email address hidden>

My Problems is:
I couldn't able to send email using domain to domain email address example:

SMTP SERVER : smtp.gmail.com
SMTP PORT : 25
EMAIL FROM ; <email address hidden>
--------------------------------------------------------------

Error message :
SMTPSenderRefused: (501, '5.5.2 MAIL FROM syntax error', <email address hidden>')

Hi John,

would you perhaps be able to indicate in this thread and here: https://answers.launchpad.net/openobject-client-web/+question/167507 what the correct settings and possible limitations are for using Gmail and Yahoo for sending mail from OpenERP?

 i installed the latest openerp , and then also with yahoo its not working.
can you give me the yahoo outgoing mailserver settings
