Is the openoffice report designer plugin for OpenERP free?

Asked by Joseph Martus Vicencio

Hello,

Good day. During my research of OpenObject Business Intelligence, I have found out that to design reports, you need to have the OpenOffice Report Designer plugin for OpenERP installed in your system. But the OpenOffice Report Designer plugin is not free.

Can anyone confirm if my findings are true? If they aren't, please point me in the right direction.

Hoping for your kind response.

Thank you.

Again the same Question ;)

yes, that true, Open office plug-ins is not free,

this is the part of the SFD Projects, so for the movement its not free. have a look at the other tools too on the sfd projects http://openerp.com/shared-funding.html

still you can use the OpenOffice to design the report and then use the tiny_sxw2rml.py tools to convert your report in to the Tiny compatible formats.

go through this document help you
