Hi,
I have downloaded the file delivery.zip into my home directory.
But when i tried to import this module using
Administration ->Module Management -> Import Module .
am getting the below error?

Error !

Can not create the module file: /usr/lib/openerp-server/addons/delivery.zip !

How to resolve this?

Hello,

Delivery module is already exist in addons list so no need to download.
you just goto the modules from Administration/Modules Management/Modules menu and search the delivery module and then install it.

But this is the transport management of stock..right?
what am looking is the Transport Vehicle management System for vehicle and it's registration)
and manages insurance contracts and their expiry etc.

Does open erp has the support to this module?

Hello Bushair,

Their is not any module exist which fulfilling all Transport Vehicle management System for vehicle and it's registration, May be one module with the name fleet_maintenance(extra-addons) will partially help you regarding that but i am not sure so you can create blueprints for that.

I downloaded the module fleet_maintenance to my home directory from the site http://www.openerp.com/download/modules/5.0/

But when i tried to import this module using
Administration ->Module Management -> Import Module
I selected the module fleet_maintenance.zip downloaded in my home directory.

But am getting the below error?

Error !

Can not create the module file: /usr/lib/openerp-server/addons/fleet_maintenance.zip !

How to resolve this?

Hello Bushair ,

Instead of doing all this thing simply copy the module in your addons list.If you have zip file then you need to just extract the zip file and put the extracted folder in module list after finishing this start again the server, run the wizard from Administration/Modules Management/Update Modules List menu and you will see the module in module list.

i have 2 addons folder in my system

/usr/src/openerp-server-5.0.6/build/lib.linux-i686-2.6/openerp-server/addons

/usr/src/openerp-server-5.0.6/bin/addons

Hello,

You need to copy the module where your server path is running.
like if you start your server like following way :
vra@vra-desktop:~/workspace/server_5.0/bin$./openerp-server.py --addons-path=../../addons-5.0.6/
Then you will copy the module in addons-5.0.6 folder.

If your all addons are in single folder then copy into /usr/src/openerp-server-5.0.6/bin/addons.
